Welcome to Exposing Animal Research in Richmond (EARR). Our mission is to create transparency into animal research underway in the Richmond, Virginia area. Currently, we are focused on research underway at Virginia Commonwealth University, however, we hope to expand visibility into other research programs in the area, including Altria, the Veterans Administration Hospital, and the University of Virginia.

We believe the public has a right to know what is happening to the animals behind the walls of public institutions and private businesses in our area. We believe the animals do not deserve to suffer in silence.
